The CSCRS is proud to announce Dr. Devon Paula Richardson as the recipient of this Award for her proposal on “Canadian practice patterns in rectal cancer care”. Congratulations on an excellent proposal. For an update on Dr. Richardson’s project, click here

Congratulations to Dr. Sean Forbes and Dr. Cagla Eskicioglu for winning the 2009 Genzyme - CSCRS “Best Paper” Podium Prize. Dr. Forbes has won for his abstract entitled: “LongTerm Outcomes in Young Adult Survivors of Colorectal Cancer” and Dr. Eskicioglu won for her abstract “The Use of Tailored Knowledge Translation Strategy to Change Bowel Preparation Practices”. Well Done!

2009 CSF in Victoria
The Canadian Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons held their 1st Annual Research Dinner. Dr. Devon Richardson was awarded a $10, 000 research grant for her proposal at the dinner, and members were given an update on Dr. Guillaume Martell’s research by Dr. Robin Boushey.

The CSCRS is working diligently on continuing the development of this website to provide a useful and effective resource for all visitors of both public and professional interests.
